Patch Notes 1.13 Halloween Event!

MapleStory Adventures has been updated to version 1.13.  The following is a list of changes. (October 25, 2011)

Halloween Event

A limited time Halloween event is now available.  You can reach the Haunted Mansion by speaking to the Masked Gentleman in your Home.  Speak to Sophilia located Inside the Haunted Mansion to start the event quest line.  You will also receive a Daily Quest during the event period.

Multi-Hire Skill Max Level Increased

The max level of the Multi-Hire Skill has been increased to 5, allowing players to hire up to 5 friends at the same time.

Limited edition Halloween items have been added to the Fashion Shop.  Hurry, they won’t be around long!

Home Has Been Added

Players now have their own Home space that can be visited by clicking the Home icon.  Here is a summary of what you can do in your Home:

• Harvest reactors for EXP, Gold, and Collection items
• Claim your Daily Bonus and Free Pizza at the Maple Mailbox
• Craft recipes with Yulete
• Enchant equipment with Alberich

(Yulete and Alberich have been removed from the towns.  All Crafting and Enchanting is now done in your Home.)

Visit Your Friend’s Home

When you are Home, the “Hire” button on the friend bar becomes the “Visit” button.  You can visit your friend’s Home and harvest their reactors for EXP, Gold, and Heart XP.

New Collections

New Collections have been added for the Home reactors.

Tutorial Improvements

Various improvements have been made to the Tutorial, including an introduction to your Home.

Daily Bonus

The maximum Daily Bonus has been increased from 5 days to 100 days.

Hire Multiple Friends

A new skill has been added that allows you to hire up to 3 friends at the same time.  This skill can be unlocked as you level up your Heart Level.

New Photo Option

Show your friends who the best MapleStory Adventures player is with the “I’m the best” photo option.

Assign Skills and Consumables to QuickSlot

Assign Skills and Consumables to QuickSlots by clicking the star on the top left corner of the Skill or Consumable you wish to use. You can have up to 5 QuickSlots in use at a time.

MapleStory Adventures has been updated to version 1.9. The following is a list of changes

Hair and Face Shops Now Open!

Visit Andre and Lenario in any of the main towns to change your hairstyle and change your face. Many new hairstyles and face types have been added!

Monster Mastery System
A monster book has been added to track all your monster encounters. Each time you defeat a monster, the mastery level meter for that monster fills up. When the mastery level increases, more information about the monster is revealed. Once a monster has been slain enough times, it becomes tame and can be equipped like a pet!

Quick Slot Added
You can now assign Skills and Consumables hotkeys! Click the star on the upper left of the Skill or Consumable that you want to add to a Quick Slot. You have up to 5 slots you can use. Press the 1-5 number keys to use what’s in the slot, or press control and click to remove it from the slot.

Keeper of Subway Line 2 Quest Fix
The Keeper of Subway Line 2 Quest requirement has been changed from Mithril Mutae to Reinforced Iron Mutae.

New Premium Items

- Drops of Eternal Energy (Max Energy +1) and Bottle of Eternal Energy (Max Energy +3) have been added to the Consumables Shop. Not only do these items fully replenish your energy, but they also permanently increase your Max Energy!

- New Premium weapons and hats have been added to the Gear Shop.

- An option to revive boss monsters has been added when clicking on their tombstone.

- An option to instantly finish crafting a recipe has been added.

- Transparent Hat has been added to the Hat section of the Fashion Shop.

Defeat Black Knight, Complete Collection, Get Devil Wings!

Take out the Black Knight, located in the Black Knight Area of Kerning City. Complete the Black Knight’s Collection and turn it in to receive Devil Wings!

Gifting System Problem Fixed

Thank you for playing MapleStory Adventures Open Beta. From August 5th through August 14th there were a few issues with the in-game Gifting system. For anyone who experienced these issues, the following information should be helpful:

•    Any Gifts sent during this time period may not have been processed and may be stuck in your Message Center.

•    You should delete any such messages from your Message Center.

•    The issue has been addressed, and Gifting is working correctly now.

We are aware that some players are currently experiencing following issues:
1) unable to load the game
2) excessive lagging in the game
3) unable to complete "Upgrade Your Weapon" quest
4) can’t see friends when attempting to send gifts or invite friends.
These issues are being addressed, and we will post when they are fixed.
